This is the largest group of birds. They have feet shaped for gripping branches and are known for their musical calls.
Finches: Small birds with thick, cone-shaped beaks for cracking seeds. Warblers: Tiny, brightly coloured birds that eat insects. Jays and Crows: Highly intelligent birds, often loud and social. Thrushes: Includes the American Robin and birds with beautiful songs. Sparrows: Small, brown-and-grey streak-patterned birds found almost everywhere. Cardinals and Grosbeaks: Thick-billed birds often sporting bright reds, blues, or yellows.
